I was trying to shoot squares yesterday. It isn’t very easy to compose when the viewfinder is in landscape mode. You have to think different. Here is the final result from a short walk in my hometown of Helsingborg, Sweden. How about you? Do you like square images?

I used to shoot with a hassleblad… square images are good for the magazines I work for, because they can crop as they like… now I shoot 5D2 and sometimes I wish I was shooting square again! nice pics! good colours…
Excellent results! I never thought about capture square images.
You should try. I love square images. But as mentioned it’s hard to compose.
